Huangting Taoist Temple It lies in the west part of Nanyue and neighbors White Horse Pool and is under Jixian Peak. Huangting Jing in Taoism is famous and Song Hui Emperor awarded the name. It was built in A.D.618 in Tang Dynasty, and was rebuilt by Ma Xisheng in Five Dynasties called Wei Pavilion with a statue of Madam. Wei Madam is named Wei Huacheng and lived in Rencheng of Shangdong Province. She was long for becoming an immortal. The fame of Huangting Taoist Temple is closely related to her. It was built according to the position and covers a floor space of 430 square meters. With red wall and green tile, it is composed of Mountain Gate, Relaxing Pavilion, Passing Hall and Wei Yuan Emperor Hall and so on. Entering from the mountain gate tablet, there inscribes "Huang Ting Sacred Parasite" in the middle. Mounting the stone steps, there reaches Relaxing Pavilion for relaxation. Continuing you reach Passing Hall called also Cihang Hall, which hangs "Huang Ting Temple" above the gate of the Hall. Loyal Martyr Temple Loyal Martyr Temple is under Censer Peak and it is a mausoleum built for sacrificing anti-Japan soldiers in 1942. It is majestic and grand and composed of 77 Memorial Tower, Memorial Depositarry, Zhijin Tablet and Xiang Depositarry and so on. Entering the tablet, you see standing 77 Memorial Tower. Walking upward until Memorial Depositarry with marble stone tablet in the center, on which memorial article written by Xie Yue were carved. Mounting stone stages until Xiang Depositarry, which is the place of sacrificing. On the door, there hangs "Loyal Martyr Temple" written by Jiang Jieshi.
