International airline caterers are eyeing the Chinese market looking to capitalize on the rapid growth in air travel.
The industry's largest caterer, LSG Sky Chefs, says it will invest more in China and increase the current 11 percent share to 30 percent.
The caterer forecasts that in the following three years, the Chinese airline catering market will grow at two digit speed.
The upcoming 2008 Beijing Olympics and the 2010 Shanghai World Expo are expected to be a huge boost to tourism in China.
In addition, the prosperity of the tourism industry and the growth of the mid-class population will also boost air travel.
